Possible Errors
Setting up indicators on the TradingView platform can be a bit tricky, and you may encounter some errors along the way. Here are some common issues that you might encounter, along with tips on how to resolve them:
Error: "Study Error: Error on bar 0: You are not in SCALP mode, Please switch timeframe to 4H and above"
Solution: This error occurs when you try to use our indicator in the different signal modes. Our indicators are curarted in a way to provide the traders with good solutions and make their life easy. The signal mode need to be set based on the trading strategy, if you are a scalp traders you most likely will be scalping in 1,3,5,15 mins or 1h to 4h maximum where as if you are a positional trader you will not be in lower timeframe rather you use it in bigger time frame. So our settings are fine tuned for smaller time frame use SCALP and higher timeframe use POSITIONAL and if you want to override this then use SWING which works in all timeframes.
Error: "Study Error: Calculation timed out. Remove the indicator and reapply it to the chart"
Solution: This error occurs randomly when Tradingview is trying to reload the indicator settings while shifting between instruments and it takes more time to load than unsual from the tradingview environment itself. Simplest way to get rid of the issue is change the time from and revert back to the old timeframe as its a matter of reloading the new request triggers and it eliminates the issue.
By being aware of these common errors and their solutions, you can save yourself time and frustration when setting up indicators on the TradingView platform. If you encounter an error that you're not sure how to resolve, don't hesitate to reach out to TradingView support for assistance.
